MASH

MINNESOTA ASSOCIATION OF SOBER HOMES

The Minnesota Association of Sober Homes (MASH) is a nonprofit organization that sets standards and provides certification for sober living homes across Minnesota. By following MASH’s guidelines, sober homes commit to providing safe, ethical, and supportive environments for people in recovery. Choosing a MASH-certified home means choosing accountability, community, and a place where recovery can truly thrive.

Other Helpful Resources

(SAMHSA) is a U.S. Department of Health and Human Services agency that leads national efforts to improve behavioral health. It oversees programs in mental health and substance use prevention, funding evidence-based treatment, crisis services (including the 988 lifeline and Disaster Distress Helpline), data collection, and workforce training.

Faces & Voices of Recovery is a national nonprofit founded in 2001 that empowers individuals in long-term recovery from addiction to become advocates, educators, and leaders. It works to eliminate stigma, influence policy, and build peer-led recovery communities through training programs, public campaigns, certification of recovery organizations, amplify the voices and power of lived experience

MRC is Minnesota’s oldest Recovery Community Organization, led by peers with lived experience. They provide free peer-to-peer support, such as one-to-one coaching, telephone check-ins, and recovery navigation. Plus they sponsor training for Recovery Coaches, public education, advocacy, and community events like the annual Walk for Recovery and Recovery Day at the Capitol

The Steve Rummler HOPE Network is a Minnesota-based nonprofit dedicated to preventing opioid overdose deaths through advocacy, education, and harm reduction. SRHN works to expand access to naloxone, distribute fentanyl and xylazine test strips,  train communities in overdose response, reduce stigmas, and advocates for lasting policy change in the fight against the opioid crisis.
